🎒 Mangi Tungi Trek Itinerary
Day 1 – Trek to Mangi–Tungi
The journey starts with an overnight trek from Hyderabad, Pune, or Mumbai. We have breakfast in the morning and begin ascension of the 4,500+ stone steps of Mangi & Tungi Hills.
- Mangi Hill (2,251 ft): Temples, caves, and panoramic Sahyadri vistas.
- Tungi Hill (2,115 ft): Shrines and stunning valleys.
The ascent typically takes 2.5–3.5 hours one way. Post-lunch, take a leisurely cultural walk in the base village. Dinner and overnight stay in a homestay/camp.
Day 2 – Ellora & Grishneshwar
Morning visit to the 108 ft Jain Idol, and then breakfast. We proceed to Aurangabad to see the Ellora Caves.
- 34 rock-cut caves that display Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain craftsmanship.
- World-renowned Kailasa Temple, sculpted out of a single rock.
